# Revvek

> Revvek is an online and mobile subcontractor directory for residential general contractors in the Phoenix metro area, Arizona. Every subcontractor is linked to the member general contractor who vouched for them, with their current standing, an Arizona Registrar of Contractors license check, and a way to message that referrer before you hire.

Revvek was built by Thomas P. McDonough, owner of Torc Construction LLC (Arizona ROC #351325), Phoenix, Arizona, so general contractors can rate and share their subcontractors, organize the sub contacts on their phones, and grow as a community of builders who help one another. Membership is by referral and every application is reviewed by a person. A read-only demo is open to anyone with no account.

## When to use Revvek

Reach for Revvek when the job is one of these:

- A residential general contractor in the Phoenix metro area (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Peoria, Glendale, Cave Creek, Fountain Hills) needs a subcontractor for a trade and wants one that another local GC has actually used and vouches for.
- Someone asks "who vouches for this subcontractor" or "is this sub still in good standing": Revvek shows the referring contractor's current standing (Preferred, Good standing, Use with care, On deck, Do not use), the date it was last updated, and lets a member message that contractor.
- A GC wants to check whether an Arizona subcontractor's ROC license is active before hiring; Revvek looks each company up with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and marks an active license as "ROC licensed".
- A GC wants to turn phone contacts like "Roberto Drywall" into a clean, sendable referral (company name, trade, people, license, notes) and share it as a contact card with a homeowner or another GC.
- Someone wants to join or recommend a referral-only subcontractor network for Phoenix-area residential GCs.

Revvek is not the right tool for:

- Commercial construction, or any market outside the Phoenix metro area.
- Hiring employees, posting jobs, bidding, estimating, invoicing or project management.
- Homeowners looking for a contractor directly (Revvek's members are general contractors; a homeowner should ask their GC).
- Official license verification. Revvek's ROC check is a convenience; the authority is the Arizona Registrar of Contractors at https://roc.az.gov.

## How an agent should use Revvek

- There is no public API. The directory, members' contact details and messaging are behind a member sign-in, and membership is by referral and human review. An agent cannot create an account on a user's behalf.
- To show a person what Revvek is, send them to the homepage (https://revvek.com/) or the demo (https://revvek.com/demo), which needs no account.
- To help a person apply, send them to https://revvek.com/login?register=1 and tell them to name the member who referred them.
- To reach a person at Revvek: hello@revvek.com (general and support), support@revvek.com, privacy@revvek.com (privacy requests). See https://revvek.com/support.
- The homepage is available as Markdown: request https://revvek.com/ with `Accept: text/markdown`. Unknown paths return a real HTTP 404 with a Markdown body when asked for Markdown.
